Greetings Faith Family,

Can you believe that it is already October? Soon this year will be completely over. Time does indeed swiftly pass by. I'm reminded of Ephesians 5 verse 16:

"Redeeming the time" KJV

"Make the most of every chance you get" The Message Translation.

"Making the most of every opportunity" The NLT Translation.

How do we as Believers make the most of every chance?

1. By Prioritization. Putting Jesus first.
2. By Prayer. Daily seeking God's guidance.
3. By Practice. Living out our faith step by step.

May God grant each of us the wisdom that we need to Redeem the time."

The Bible states in the Book of Jeremiah 33:3, "Call unto Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." At PBC, we have been very blessed as a congregation and as individuals. We have much to be thankful for. As we think about the balance of this year, we need to enter into a season of deep prayer for the church to grow both spiritually and numerically. The passage of scripture in Jeremiah should be a passage that we pray through each day for the balance of this year. We need to experience a genuine move of God that transforms us as a congregation and as individ- uals. So, please join me as we enter a season of prayer that we might experience the guid- ance, the grace and the greatness of God.
